Alan Jackson Midnight in Montgomery (C) 1995 Arista Records, Inc.

In my opinion the best version of this Prine favorite

The amazing acoustic guitar wizard Monte Montgomery plays his own style instrumental cover version of Jimi Hendrix's Little Wing live in the Austin Music Network studio. This clip captures a bit of the excitement of what it's like to see him live, but you really just have to be there to really feel it. Trust me, just go see him live whenever possible. You can also get better quality audio of this same song by buying his self-titled CD. About that recording Monte says; "As a teenager, I really became enthralled with Stevie Ray Vaughn. Both of us living in Texas, his music was hard to miss. His posthumously released version of Little Wing hit me very hard. I started just playing around with the song, not knowing the words, it eventually evolved into this epic jam. Stevie's tribute to Hendrix has and will forever be my tribute to Stevie." Hi there, you can download the MP3 file and watch a much better quality version here: http://cjshamrock.googlepages.com/ http://www.lastfm.com.br/music/CJ+Shamrock Also, please check out my Rev. Wright remix: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iETMo5c3Hro and my LOST music vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dUANGmwqHg Like so many, I was addicted to the Flea Market video and I was wondering what I would find there if it was a haunted place. Alternatively, this could be something you'd see on a bad trip after watching that video, like, a 100 times earlier in the day... Decide for yourself. PS: My apologies for the blocky quality, I think it's YouTube's fault. If anyone can help me with that I'd appreciate it. Anyway I hope you enjoy this! Thank you Sammy Stephens. You can also donwnload other of my remixes here at ACiDPLANET: http://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?songs=334138&T=6459 And feel welcome to visit MYSPACE: http://www.myspace.com/cjshamrock thanks for watching.
