Smash Brothers Melee: The Knee [updated]
Author: Admin01 8th, 2009

READ FIRST: I know several things shown in this video aren't practical for real matches, but it's meant for entertainment purposes. A partially informative, partially sarcastic vid about the ultimate melee kill move I updated this video for display at a tournament. I wanted to just over-write the original file, but that's not possible, so I had to upload it as a new video

Super Smash Brothers Melee: The Black Hole
Author: Admin01 8th, 2009

First off, this is not me and my friends who made this video. Basically, this is a glitch in the game that creates a vicious black hole that kicks people up to 999% damage. To do it...well, check it out. You need Peach on one team with either Falco or Fox, and either Falco or Fox on the other team with anyone. Two things that should be noted: 1) Getting the infinite Super Scope: Go to the edge of the screen. Shoot 5 three-shot bursts. Then shoot two charged blasts. Start charging up a third blast, then have someone hit you to interrupt your charge. Your Super Scope should now have infinite ammo. 2) This glitch will sometimes cause your game to freeze and crash. Try this at your own risk. I personally haven't ever had my game crash from it, but it does happen.

These are found on speed demos archive, here's an appropriate link to the correct area displaying the best times by various individual gamers: http://speeddemosarchive.com/ssbm.html ^ To Smash Melee! http://speeddemosarchive.com/gamelist/FullList.html ^ To Full List of games... This video is for informational purposes only, I did not do anything but make edit the video with music and a new order from another video on youtube. This illistrates the competitiveness of gamers and how gaming has evolved almost into a sport, as games are becoming offical tournaments with prize money. Their are various people whom have accomplished these particular records and the info is on the site listed in the begining of this description. If you or a friend is interested in speed runs or the idea of finishing a game wicked fast, then check out some inspirational videos on speed demos archive. Personally I thought about doing a speed run but I'd rather play the game like I do since I'm more of a strategist and thinker when it comes to most games. The Characters are organized in Slowest to Quickest times, The List as follows: (ordered by time the character appears in the video, and then the characters name) 0:05 = Dr.Mario MD 0:24 = Ness 0:43 = Kirby 1:00 = Ice Climbers 1:17 = Peach, Princess 1:31 = Marth 1:45 = Donkey Kong 1:59 = Bowser 2:12 = Mario 2:27 = Samus 2:40 = Jigglypuff 2:52 = Yoshi 3:07 = Captain Falcon CF 3:19 = Pikachu 3:32 = Fox 3:44 = Zelda / Shiek 3:56 = Roy 4:07 = Pichu 4:17 = Falco 4:27 = Young Link 4:37 = Ganondorf 4:47 = Mewtwo 4:57 = Luigi 5:07 = Link 5:15 = Game & Watch, Mr. Music and Sounds used: Music at 0:00 Title: Dance of Eternity By: Dream Theater Music at 3:27 Title: Sync By: OutPhase Music at 5:23 (credits) Title: Digging my Potato By: Cowboy Bebop OST 1 This video is simply for informational purposes, and is not meant to upstage any other videos. This musical revision of the Target Test Records is brought to you by stonemonkenlightened, I didn't do any of these levels, besides editing the musics, and reorganizing the character segments from slowest to quickest. I hope you've enjoyed the video and found something to take away from the experience and excitement. Super Smash Bros. Melee (大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズDX, Dairantō Sumasshu Burazāzu Derakkusu?, lit. Great Melee Smash Brothers Deluxe), often abbreviated as SSBM or simply as Melee, is a crossover fighting game released for the Nintendo GameCube shortly after its launch in 2001 (2002 in the PAL region). It is the successor to the 1999 Nintendo 64 game Super Smash Bros., and the predecessor to the 2008 Wii game Super Smash Bros. Brawl. HAL Laboratory developed the game, with Masahiro Sakurai as head of production. --- Super Smash Bros Melee Target Test Record Speed Demo Archive Best Nintendo Gamecube Video Game Fighting Break Brothers 大乱闘スマッシュブラザーズDX target test speed demo archive records super smash bros melee SSBM times timing quick fast extra mode gamecube nintendo wii brawl Brawl cowboy bebop digging my potato dance of eternity dream theater sync outphase music fox mario link

Shows where the music of the Onett stage comes from. I know that this one is not only a bit unorthodox than the other music videos I've posted, but also a little longer, so here's an index of the video: Juxtaposition of the normal Onett music and its originals: 00:00 - 04:02 Side note to the normal Onett music: 04:02 - 04:50 Original to the alternate Onett music: 04:50 - 05:49 Vocal version of the original to the alternate Onett music: 05:49 - 09:32 Instrumental version of the vocal version of the original to the alternate Onett music: 09:32 - 12:40

Zelda's Moves - History Behind Super Smash Bros. Melee
Author: Admin01 8th, 2009

In this video I show where I believe some of Zelda's moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into SSBM. The origin of Zelda's moves are somewhat ambiguous, especially to those that haven't played Ocarina of Time, so I put text in some parts of the video to explain everything as best as I can. I acquired some of the video from VHS (I taped Ocarina of Time as I played through it), some of it straight from the game and the SSBM video with my capture device.
Yoshi's Moves - History Behind Super Smash Bros. Melee
Author: Admin01 8th, 2009

In this video I show where I believe some of Yoshi's moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into SSBM. For the SSBM part, I show a normal view and then a close-up. I put text in some parts of the video to point out the things that aren't blatantly obvious. I acquired the NES and SNES videos from emulators and the N64 and SSBM video with my capture device. (Note my username.)
