But, to agree with jimmieteemm, it was mostly Bono who ruined it... and, as you point out, the chorus. Still, it's nice to see people honoring such a fine man as Ronnie.

The tune itself sounded cheap, whereas Ronnie's songs were gruff, "working class", and tinged with strange nostalgia. As the old saying goes, "wherever there is Bono, there is shit nearby."
