January 8th, 2009 at 05:52:31 I just heard of the appointment of Kay Ryan as the Library of Congress's 16th Poet Laureate Consultant in Poetry for 2008-09. I am so excited for her. She has been a particular favorite for about 10 years. Congratulations, Kay! :-)
