   January 8th, 2009 at 04:24:02 I don't think you can blame it on the 997's manual. As you can hear, the driver isn't much of a slow shifter.. And the Gallardo is heavier, so i dont think the 40 hp is the key. Maybe some aerodynamics, or torque curve.. ? :P

   January 8th, 2009 at 07:04:55 In the last race, where the cameraman switched to the Gallardo, the Turbo had a slightly bigger lead than the Gallardo had when the cameraman was in the 997 Turbo. Result? Too close to tell, but I think Porsche is just a tiny bit faster. And it has 40 BHP less.
