Though I'm not bashing anyone's taste in music. Indeed Metal magazines like kerrang created the Genre by placing bands they believed were metal in them. Either way Change of Heart is a Great song, so Shut up and Enjoy!

Not a single one of them. They didn't even claim to be metal, the magazines did that. So if we are talking about "inventing" metal, that would be credited to the music magazines.
